Is it possible to know that all your sins are forgiven and that you have eternal life?

According to God’s Word, the Bible, it is!

We must understand we are all sinners.

Romans 3:10-12 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The Bible makes it clear that each person is a sinner. We have sinned against God and fallen short of His glory. No one, no matter how much good they do, is a sinless person. We have all sinned.

We must understand that sin must be punished.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death…

Wages are what you earn for what you have done. If you work 40 hours at your job, you earn a paycheck at the end of the week. Similarly, because we have sinned we have earned the wage of sin which is death.

When the Bible talks about death it’s talking about separation from God.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Because of Adam’s sin, the entire world was plunged into sin and death.

We must understand that Jesus paid the price for our sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loves you! Jesus, God the Son, came to the Earth and lived a perfectly sinless life. The Bible says that Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Jesus died on the cross and rose again to pay for our sin.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

We must come to Jesus by faith alone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Salvation is by grace, through faith alone. It’s not of work. If you want to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, the Bible says that we must ask Him by faith to save us.

Romans 10:9, 13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ...For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you prayed to trust Jesus as your personal Savior we would love to rejoice with you and answer any questions you might have!
